Ben SeagerI joined the AICR in 2008, being in my first front office manager role at that time I saw this as a perfect opportunity to gain knowledge from like minded people who I would later call my friends.
I have been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years now. I have predominantly worked for Red Carnation Hotels over this period which is a family owned collection of 4 and 5 star boutique hotels.
I am honoured to have been elected as president and my focus over the next two years will be to create a greater awareness of our association to ensure a steady growth of our membership further securing a successful future for our association.
I look forward to welcoming all of our members to an event in the near future.
Florian BroemelI have been working in the hospitality industry for the last 15 years with a passion for front of house. After I successfully completed my apprenticeship in Germany in 2000 I worked for Intercontinental Hotels Group in Berlin and near Frankfurt am Main in various positions in Food & Beverage and Front Office.
In 2004 I relocated to London and started as a receptionist at K West Hotel & Spa (Lancaster Landmark Hotel Company) but was fortunate enough to be promoted to Reception Manager after a short period of time.
For the last two years at K West Hotel & Spa I held the position of Front Office Manager before I left to take on the role as Front of House Manager at Lancaster London in February 2009.
In my current position at the Lancaster London I am responsible for the several departments i.e. Reception, Concierge, Guest Relations, Business Centre and Security.

I joined the AICR in 1992 and became a committee member in 1999. I volunteered to be Membership Secretary a role I have carried out since then.
Having worked in the Hospitality Industry for over thirty years in Hotel Operations, both Front Office and Reservations, I now work part-time for Hotel Telephone Maintenance Limited as Systems Trainer.
The company installs and maintains Mitel telephone systems, call logging systems and guests High speed solutions in Hotels throughout the UK and Ireland. I provide training on these systems and back-up support.
Adam RowledgeI have been a member of the AICR UK section since May 2011 and joined the committee in February 2012. I wanted to join to committee to help the rest of the team to give the best value possible to the members of AICR UK.
My background is almost entirely in Front Office management in hotels across the country including the 5* country house, South Lodge and York's first 5* hotel, Cedar Court Grand Hotel & Spa. Following the closure of The Hempel in London where I was Rooms Division Manager I am now enjoying my first Deputy General Manager position at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa in Surrey.
Katarina BurikovaKatarina joined the Hospitality industry 6 years ago as a Food and Beverage Assistant at The Cavendish Hotel. After working in most of the Food and Beverage outlets she moved to Front Office as Front Desk Assistant.
To expand her knowledge and understanding of the industry, she started a hospitality management course at Thames Valley University, which was sponsored by The Cavendish.
During the years she has also had a chance to work as an Income Auditor for the hotels and then rejoined the front Desk as a Duty Manager.
She has now completed her studies and holds a Bachelors degree, she works with Springboard Charity as their Ambassador and her current role is Front Office Manager at The Cavendish.

I am therefore very excited to be a member of the committee since the beginning of 2008 and look forward to many new members and hotels joining us this year. As the organiser of the Receptionist of the Year Competition I look forward to be baffled by the great talent we have in this Industry.
I started my hotel career with Hilton International in Munich and London. After successfully completing my apprenticeship training at the Munich Park Hilton, I transferred to the London Hilton Park Lane where I worked in several front office roles.
I then joined the Crowne Plaza London St. James Hotel, starting as a Night Manager and growing through the ranks to Front Office Manager. In 2008 I moved to the Crowne Plaza Marlow as Deputy General Manager and joined the Holiday Inn London Kingston South as General Manager in 2011.Events Coordinator

WarrenI have been a member of the AICR since 2009 and I have loved every minute, from gaining industry knowledge to making new friends!
I worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for a Best Western property for two years before moving to Dorset Square Hotel, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World, as Front of House Manager and then Sales/Revenue Manager.
After a short stint looking after 1600 bedrooms for Imperial College as a Business Development Manager I moved to The Cadogan and No.11 Cadogan Gardens as Director of Sales.
